Professional qualification

This is not a degree title qualifying with ministerial approval for the exercise of regulated professional activities.

Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Number of places for new students

Total number of places available

A minimum of 20 students are required to teach the Master's programme.

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Specific admission conditions

Entry profile

Graduates in any branch of Exact, Physical or Natural Sciences, Engineers and Architects, who want to acquire a professional specialisation in water resources management or who want to carry out a Doctoral Thesis.

Selection criteria

The selection will take into account:

  • The academic record 50%.
  • The student's previous training and experience (curriculum vitae) 40%.
  • English language skills 10%.

A personal interview will be held if necessary.

If the application for admission is made less than one year after the date of completion of the first degree, only the academic record and knowledge of English will be taken into account.

Matrícula a tiempo parcial

Los alumnos que se matriculen a tiempo parcial deben realizar y superar las pruebas y actividades parciales que se establezcan de cada uno de los módulos. Además, tienen la obligación de presentarse a la prueba escrita final de los módulos 1 al 6 en los que se hayan matriculado en cada curso académico para superar las asignaturas cursadas. Dicha prueba escrita se desarrollará de forma presencial en la sede donde se realice la fase presencial del máster de cada curso académico. Para superar el módulo, el alumno deberá haber obtenido en cada una de las partes el equivalente al 50% de la calificación total. El módulo 7 de Estudio de Casos se realizará de forma íntegra durante la fase presencial, de forma presencial y en la sede establecida para la realización de la fase presencial de cada curso académico.

Fees: 1st matriculation: nationals and residents: 3.635 € ; non-EU non-residents: 5.435  (approximate information).

Beginning of classes: 14th October 2024

Face-to-face phase: from July 1 to 14, 2024 in Santiago de Chile.
