Level 3 leading to the title of Master's Degree. Level 3 (Master's) of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES) corresponds to level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), in accordance with the provisions of the Royal Decree 22/2015, of 23rd January (BOE 07/02/2015).

This is not a degree title qualifying with ministerial approval for the exercise of regulated professional activities.

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

PERFIL DE INGRESO RECOMENDADO:

Graduados/as en Química, Farmacia, Biología, Bioquímica, Biotecnología, Ciencias Ambientales, Criminalística y Ciencias y Tecnologías Forenses, Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos, Ingeniería Química, Ingeniería Biomédica.

CRITERIOS DE ADMISION:

Se aplicará un baremo de puntuación ponderado que valorará:

1.- Expediente académico del título de acceso (70 %). Se valorará el aprovechamiento mediante la nota media del expediente académico.

2.- Currículum vitae académico o profesional (15 %). Se valorará la formación complementaria, las prácticas externas, la participación en proyectos u otras actividades académicas o profesionales relacionadas con el ámbito de la química, la nanotecnología y la biomedicina, adecuadas a un nivel de especialización propia de estudios de máster.

3.- Otros méritos académicos relevantes (10 %). Se considerarán méritos adicionales de carácter académico que complementen la formación del candidato, tales como premios, becas, acreditación de idiomas o competencias transversales relevantes para el aprovechamiento de los estudios de máster.

4.- Entrevista personal (5 %, solo en caso necesario). La entrevista se realizará únicamente cuando sea necesario aclarar aspectos del expediente o del currículum académico del candidato. En ella se valorará la motivación académica, el conocimiento de los objetivos y contenidos del máster, la capacidad de comunicación y la madurez académica para cursar estudios de nivel MECES 3.
