Level of qualification

Level 3 leading to the title of Master's Degree. Level 3 (Master's) of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES) corresponds to level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), in accordance with the provisions of the Royal Decree 22/2015, of 23rd January (BOE 07/02/2015).

Professional qualification

Qualifying Master's: This Master's is in accordance with the 7th Additional Provisions of the General Public Health Law 33/2011, of 4th October and Order ECD/1070/2013, of 12th June, which establish the requirements for Official University degree titles that qualify for the exercise of the regulated profession of General Health Psychologist.

Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Fees: 1st matriculation: nationals and residents: 5.531 € first year, 2.690 € second year; non-EU non-residents: 14.443 € first year, 7.146 € second year (approximate information).

Timetable

  • First course: 
    • First term: Monday to Thursday from 15:30 to 20:30h. 
    • Second term: Mondays and Tuesdays from 15:30 to 20:30h.
    • Internships will take place in a specific schedule depending on the centre they take place.
  • Second course: 
    • Optional subjects schedule: 6 days (distributed throughout the term), 4 hours a day from 15:30 to 19:30h.
    • Internships will take place in a specific schedule depending on the centre they take place.
    • In addition, there will be 5 hours of academic tutoring for internships at CUCC, distributed in 3 sessions.
    • Master's dissertation tutorials will be agreed upon between the student and the tutor.
