The University of Alcalá offers courses leading to official university degrees valid all over Spain and where applicable, throughout the territory of the European Union.

In its official studies, the University of Alcalá promotes training that is balanced in theoretical and practical aspects, promoting freedom of opinion, based on a command of content to grasp the scientific, technical or artistic methods needed to achieve the social return on the public resources invested in the training process in productive activity of future graduates.

Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and of universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Postgraduate Short Courses

Este Máster ofrece a cualquier estudiante la posibilidad de cursar un conjunto de las asignaturas que oferta configuradas como un Curso Corto de Posgrado, lo que le permitirá recibir, si lo solicita al finalizar el curso, un Título Propio de la Universidad de Alcalá.

Cuando finalice estas asignaturas el estudiante podrá solicitar, abonando las tasas correspondientes, un Certificado del Curso Corto de Posgrado. Además, si más adelante el estudiante desea completar el Máster, las asignaturas cursadas en este Curso Corto de Posgrado serán incorporadas a su expediente automáticamente y sin coste.

La preinscripción y matrícula de estos Cursos Cortos de Posgrado se realizará por el procedimiento habitual de preinscripción y matrícula

El Curso Corto que incorpora el Máster es:

Number of places for new students

Total places available: 30 (15 for speciality)

Minimum number of places for an speciality to be taught: 5

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Subjects, academic staff, competences, teaching guides and final project regulations

For Master's Dissertations to be defended from the academic year 2019-20 onwards, it has been established that, along with the Master's Dissertation, the student must submit to the director the summarized report (% of coincidence) given through Turnitin application, once the director has opened the application to obtain the aforementioned report (Approved by the Official Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Committee, on its regular session dated 24th September 2019).
