- Síntesis, caracterización y estudio de propiedades conformacionales de polímeros (poliésteres, polifosfacenos, polielectrolitos, polímeros fotoconductores, etc.).
- Caracterización fásica y reológica de micelas, vesículas/liposomas, cristales líquidos, microgeles.
- Geles y microgeles poliméricos: diseño, caracterización y aplicaciones principalmente en el campo de la biotecnología.
- Micro- y nano-transportadores de fármacos y material génico (polímeros, macrociclos, micelas, vesículas/liposomas, cristales líquidos, microgeles, etc.).
- Modulación de propiedades ópticas no lineales de moléculas utilizando la química supramolecular.
- Termodinámica de propiedades de transporte en sistema biológicos.
