Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Number of places for new students

Total number of places available: 10

Minimum number of places for an speciality to be taught: 5

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Specific admission conditions

Criterios de admisión y selección:

La Comisión Académica del Título es el órgano responsable de realizar la selección. Se utilizarán los siguientes criterios para admitir a los nuevos estudiantes:

  • Nota media del expediente académico igual o superior a 1,6 (escala 1- 4) → EXCLUYENTE (*).
  • Calificaciones obtenidas en la titulación que da acceso al Máster en las asignaturas relacionadas con el Máster.
  • Trabajos, cursos y/o seminarios realizados con los perfiles del Máster.
  • Buen nivel de conocimiento del idioma inglés (nivel B1 o equivalente).
  • Otros méritos.
  • Carta de motivación e interés en la investigación científica en el área de la visión por parte del aspirante.

(*) Si el solicitante no llega a 1,6 de nota media de expediente académico, se desestimará su solicitud, salvo que concurran circunstancias excepcionales (entre otras, que queden plazas vacantes)

Perfil de Ingreso: 

Este estudio esta dirigido a  Estudiantes titulados en Biología, Bioquímica, Biotecnología, Enfermería, Estadística, Farmacia, Física, Medicina, Óptica y Optometría, Química y Veterinaria.

También titulados en Ingenierías Informática, Telecomunicaciones, Industrial y Electrónica con interés en el proceso de la visión.

Fees: 1st matriculation: nationals and residents: 1.607 € ; non-EU non-residents: 1.607 € (approximate information).
