The University of Alcalá offers courses leading to official university degrees valid all over Spain and where applicable, throughout the territory of the European Union.

In its official studies, the University of Alcalá promotes training that is balanced in theoretical and practical aspects, promoting freedom of opinion, based on a command of content to grasp the scientific, technical or artistic methods needed to achieve the social return on the public resources invested in the training process in productive activity of future graduates.

These studies include Undergraduate Degrees, Master's Degrees and Doctorates courses.

There is the possibility of a double degree. It is possible to study 1-2 semesters in any of the foreign Universities with which the University of Alcalá has an agreement.

Con fecha 9 de julio de 2014, la ANECA emite informe favorable de modificación del estudio, pasando de 120 ECTS A 90 ECTS. El nuevo plan de estudios, de 90 ECTS, se implanta en el curso académico 2014-15.

Level 3 leading to the title of Master's Degree. Level 3 (Master's) of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES) corresponds to level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), in accordance with the provisions of the Royal Decree 22/2015, of 23rd January (BOE 07/02/2015).

Professional qualification

This is not a degree title qualifying with ministerial approval for the exercise of regulated professional activities.

Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Perfil de ingreso

Como cualquier otro título de postgrado en el campo de management general, los conocimientos para el ingreso en el Máster son una cuestión relativa, debiendo primar el perfil del candidato, así como su visión respecto a la misión que le cabe desempeñar en la empresa como responsable de medios económicos y humanos. Por lo anterior, y aunque el título va dirigido fundamentalmente a graduados procedentes de administración de empresas, de la economía o del derecho, pueden tener cabida otros profesionales, y en especial es interesante para egresados con una formación científica o tecnológica que deseen asumir responsabilidades de dirección en las organizaciones. En tal sentido se considera positivo que en los grupos haya psicólogos, sociólogos, ingenieros, informáticos o graduados de disciplinas científicas (biología, física, etc.).

Criterios de admisión y selección

  • Se valorará la formación y experiencia previa del estudiante. 60%
  • Se valorará el grado de conocimiento de lengua inglesa. 40%
  • Se realizarán pruebas de selección y una entrevista personal, si así se estimase conveniente (sirve para determinar si es candidato idóneo que se evaluaría o no se considera cómo candidato idóneo).

Fees: 1st matriculation: nationals and residents: 2.736  € first year, 1.350 € second year; non-EU non-residents: 5.079 € first year, 2.522 € second year (approximate information).
